Rental Policies

In order to ensure all Inland House residents have an enjoyable stay we ask that you read the following information.

Check-In time is 3:00 pm.
Check-Out time is 11:00 am
All rental condominiums are non-smoking

Deposit: A deposit of 50% of your rental rate is required within 7 days of reservation. The unit will be held for you for those 7 days. If a deposit is not received within 7 days the reservation will be cancelled. When the deposit is received you will receive an email stating the unit is being held for you. The email will act as your receipt.

Balance in full is due 30 days ahead of your arrival date.

Payment by personal check must include a photocopy of the driver license or government ID of the person signing the check. This deposit is applied to your room charge.

Cancellation: A 30 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are 30 or more days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations made less than 30 days of the arrival date or changes that result in a shortened stay will forfeit the full advance deposit.

The maximum occupancy of each unit may not be exceeded, due to local fire codes. These occupancy figures must include any children or babies.

Trailers of any kind are not permitted in the Inland House parking lot overnight. Ryde Marine @ 231-347-8273 and Conway Storage @ 231-348-5827 can accommodate overnight trailer storage for a small fee. Arrangements should be made prior to your stay.

Dock space is not for use by Inland House renters or guests unless guaranteed dock space is part of your agreement and you have been given instructions to the specific slip prior to arrival. Wave Runners, Jet Skis, and aluminum fishing boats can be tied-off in the area between the beach and the dock walkway and cannot take up a slip. Bumpers and ropes are not provided.

Bicycles should not be parked or locked to any outside post and may be stored, at your own risk, in the room on the first floor next to the elevator. It is recommended you bring your own bike lock. Locks are not provided.

Gas grills located on the patio near the water's edge are available for guests to use. Please turn off the gas, clean up, and replace the grill cover once the grill has cooled.

A fire pit is located near the patio is for use by guests. Firewood is not provided and can be purchased at Oleson’s market and a few roadside locations along US 31 heading into Petoskey.

Patio walkways and the area directly outside the unit are to be kept clear of all items such as, fishing poles, coolers, bikes, pets, etc. Wet towels and clothing should be kept in the unit and not hung over the railing or placed anywhere outside to dry.

Laundry facilities are located in the room on the first floor near the elevators and may be used between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. There is 1 coin operated washer and 1 dryer available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please be considerate of others and set a timer so clothes do not sit unattended once the cycles are complete. It is $1.25 per load and the machines only take quarters. Change is not available. Detergent and softener are not provided.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. As each condominium shares a building with several other units, please remember to be as considerate of your neighbors as you wish them to be to you.

Fireworks and lanterns are strictly prohibited

Housekeeping services are not provided daily. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure.

Release of liability: The owners and the Inland House Condo Association are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or while using the facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest or to others whom they may invite. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any and all personal injury to themselves, or to others whom they may invite to use the premises, or to personal property damage arising from their use of the premises.
